March

It is hard to believe it is already March. Here in the Pacific Northwest the crocus are blooming and the daffodils and tulips are just a week or so away. We still have chilly rainy days and the occasional snow flurry but spring is just around the corner. With it will come hardening off established seedlings and burying dahlia tubers in the freshly worked soil. Soon enough market season will kick off at the end of April and then summer will be rushing at us.

March still holds a bit of quiet and I am sitting in that quiet planning and planting seedlings and looking forward to all the blooms to come.
